It's been a long time since I was able to sit down and write a body of work that all fit together. A lot can change in 5 years. You'll move from place to place. Love will come and go. You'll experience loss. Stability can seem like a far away illusion. Some days will feel like they just won't end.

I used to think that throughout change and turmoil, you'll hopefully come out the other side having learned something from it. But when I finally arrived on that other side, I was happy to have just made it. And maybe that's the best lesson of all. To appreciate wherever you are, whenever that is. That is what these songs mean to me.
